CAFE RAe
In October 2012, Speedy Ventilation was contacted to complete a full fitout for a café opening in the industrial area in Erskine Park.
The client's brief was “do it once and do it right, don’t cut corners.” With that in mind the team at Speedy Ventilation set about to design the kitchen and display areas of the café. Once the plans were provided and approved, the construction began.
The fitout involved everything in these two areas, specifically:
- Speedy high efficiency range hood with evaporative cooling system
- Dishwasher hood
- Front counter
- Hot food display
- Cold food display
- Refrigeration units
- Cool room
- Cooking equipment
- Cake display
- Sinks
- Benches
- Overshelves
The client also wanted to cover their drain outside whilst still maintaining its functional use. Speedy Ventilation transferred their logo and business name onto a sheet of stainless steel using their plasma cutter. Perforated metal was then placed under the cut out in order to allow the operation of the drain.
